PICC PASTORS' WIVES

The Pastor's wife is a very crucial and critical calling in the work of God since she is placed next to her husband whom God has called. The Bible does not speak anything about the Pastor's wife. This does not mean she is not important but simply mean that she is one with her husband. She has been divinely chosen to be a suitable helper for her husband in ministry. The bible says, and the Lord God said, it is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.(Genesis 2:18) As a Pastor's wife, she holds a position of honor that should be accepted with gratitude. It is a leadership role. The Bible says,;You did not choose me, but l chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the father in my name He may give you. John 15:16 This office requires high level commitment, integrity, and utmost discipline if you are to proclaim the praises of Him who called you (1 Peter 2:9). In Pentecost International Christian Centre (PICC), as a local church, we believe in exemplary leadership which entails that we must live what we teach and teach what we live As a Ministry, we realize that information is power and vital at every level and it is in this view that this manual has been developed to help or guide every woman who is called to this Noble Task. We believe this will help every Pastor's wife operate maximally and successfully in the ministry.
